Happy Autumnal Equinox!

I love autumn. But, I realize that some of you aren't as in love with the fall, knowing it's the harbinger of dark, cold winter days.

So, to cheer you up, I'm going to do a Chase Away the Winter Blues Giveaway, snuck in between the My Vice Giveaways.

Included are a box of St. John's Wort tea, a pretty Jennifer Louden (a.k.a. The Comfort Queen) journal, and a funky pen to jot down all those cool weather thoughts. Post a comment and see if I can help you chase away the winter blues!

I'll use Random.org again to pick out a lucky recipient on October 1st but probably won't announce it until Oct. 2nd.

Edited to add: Gassner Custom Soaps was busy putting together a giveaway of her own while I was typing this post up; but stay away from hers because I want to win that one. Bwahahaha!

And in different news: Gracefruit and I are going to do a swap - her fabulous soaps for my handmade paper and variety notecards! I am so excited! Uh oh, does that mean I have to get off the computer and make paper now? ;>

I'm one of those who hates the thought of winter coming. I am definitely a hot house flower!

Hi Teresa: I LOVE fall! Jim and I just went to the apple farm this week-end and I had a couple of apples and a piece of warm homemade apple pie ... oh MY that was good!

I wanted to ask you, did you take that photo on your blog? It's beautiful regardless. :-)

Diane, I'd offer to knit you one except I have yet to attempt one for myself. I'm afraid my first try will look like a potato sack. Maybe you can go to L.A. again in December if you don't win my drawing? ;)

Elizabeth, don't tempt me or I'll be making several random thoughts on every one of your posts! 8>

Diana Elaine, I'm going to have to make an apple pie, or three, from the 5 baskets of apples we still have left. Yummy! My 12 year old son took the photo at the top of my blog. I quite liked it. :)

Carrie-Gigi, maybe that's it...maybe it's because I start to eat lots when it gets cooler and since I love to eat, I love the season. LOL!

I'm not overly fond of winter, but fall is my favorite season! The crisp air, the changing leaves, cozying up in front of the fire, ahhh.

Love the contests, btw!

May Canadians enter?

I don't actually mind the winter weather all that much, although it does get cold here. The thing that really bothers me is that there are so few hours of daylight.

Living in Florida, I actually don't mind the winter...but look forward to the cooler weather...but what I don't look forward to is the shorter daylight hours!

Great giveaway! Thanks!
