So what went on in my month of May?
Well, I...
1) turned 45
2) finished my sweater
3) created a Twitter account for my dog
4) worked on (and finished a couple) of the Pay-It-Forward giveaway gifts5) processed 9 chickens
6) weeded, and weeded, and weeded
and last but definitely not least,6) received gifts from Sherrie and Elizabeth (and Elizabeth is having a sale this month!).
First a heady Mocha soap from Sherrie...mmm...we're almost done using it in the kitchen (and it makes me want to have hot chocolate every time I use it)
Then, a lovely trio from Elizabeth, who remembered that her Dreamsicle Lip Balm is my all-time favorite! I can't wait to use the Whipped Soap; it smells so cheerfully divine. And the doll is simply adorable: reminds me of those wooden, nesting Russian dolls.
And what about the rest of you? How was your May? :) I sure missed visiting your blogs (I did try to sneak in a few reads here and there)."He is happiest, be he king or peasant, who finds peace in his home." ~ Johann von Goethe

A Twitter account for your dog? LOL!
I'll e-mail you tonight! I'm already wondering what I'll make in return!
Yay your back =D
welcome back! sounds like you were very productive while away :)
Hey Blonde! Yeah, my dog wanted a voice of her own in the cyberworld *snort*. ;) You don't have to make anything for me; you can make something for someone else since it's paying it forward.
Heidi, well, with my FB pals, I never really left, did I? LOL!
Heather, thanks! I was semi-productive. I never quite get as much done as I want to. See you at your blog!
Welcome back, and happy belated birthday!
Happy birthday! You were missed. I wish I could knit a sweater. I took knitting, but never quite mastered it. I guess I'm not one for fiber arts...
Happy belated b-day!!! Welcome back to the cyber world. It sounds like a welcome break from weeding! ;)
Well...
I was going to say "A twitter account for your dog?!!!"
but someone beat me to it.
Glad to see you back.
welcome back! congrats on turning 45 and I luv your sweater colour :)
Happy Birthday!!! You still are sooooooooo young---not near the big 50 yet!
You have been busy- the sweater is adorable, your doggie is too! What breed is your little guy? I see sheltie, collie, shepard?? Am I close?
And look at all your goodies too! Everything from Elizabeth and Sherrie are sure to be wonderful.
My May? Crazy, busy, but fun. Lots of family time... Still getting the house ready for sale- while enjoying the Eastern shore home at times.
Big hug!
YAY!!!! I am so glad. I really missed you! I too have been busy weeding--and processing chickens? That reminds me of when I was a kid--not so sure I want to relive the smell of them parboiling before plucking . . .EWWWWWW! LOL Great to have you back.
Sherrie, Maureen, and Alli, thanks for the birthday wishes!
Maureen, I think anyone can knit; it just takes a good bit of patience to master it.
Alli, yeah, blogging is easier on the back than weeding. ;)
Meg, the dog acct allows me to say humorous things that would sounds strange coming from me. It's interesting how things are so much more funny as seen through the dog's eyes.
Sangeeth, thanks and thanks! ;>
Carrie, sometimes 45 doesn't feel so young. LOL! Glad to hear you're enjoying the shore; I hope you will be able to sell the house quickly once you list it!
Tutta, thank you! Funny, the smell of parboiling doesn't bother me very much. We have friends who used to process chickens yrs ago, and they said that the smell really got to them and that's why they stopped.
Welcome back. Good to know what you were up to in your time away. I love the soft little nesting doll. Where are you going to put her?
I'm totally following your dog on Twitter!
Oops, Carrie, I forgot to answer your question: my dog is an English Shepherd - which is essentially a mutt with collie and shepherd blood, bred to be an all-round useful farm dog. :>
I was thinking of you this morning and wondering when you'd be back in action! Missed you!
I know I forgot to e-mail....the Babies were wound up from the Ball and there was such a mess...
The critters came from my Invisible Friends! Moon is Reeni's cat.
Glad to have you back! I just want to know...how does your dog hit the rights keys on the cell phone to send tweets?
Ragi is finger millet. Know more abt it here,

You've been busy. I love the Twitter account for the dog but better yet, I like the sweater-finish! Good job with that - it takes tenacity. Kudos.
Happy, Happy Birthday, Teresa!!! Hope it was wonderful! Don't the forties just rock? I love them! Glad you're back!
Suzanne, I never get as many things done as I (optimistically) think I will. :} As for the doll, I'll put her where she is most seen and loved.
Julie, LOL...beware my dog; she's a mean one. ;) I've missed your blog too; but we'll always have Twitter (when I manage to get online and catch your tweets).
Blonde, Reeni is lucky to have a beauty like Moon!
Teri, *snort*! We keep her nails sharp and pointy so she can text easily.
Sangeeth, thanks for the Ragi link; cool!
Anne-Marie, thank you! I try to always finish projects but sometimes it takes me a looong time. ;)
Heather, thanks for the b-day wishes! 40s were great until I hit 45, which is a bit scarier. I'll be fine until the big five-oh.
Such adorable gifts! I think it's wonderful you took the time off to get caught up on things. I feel like I can never get caught up whether it's laundry, half started crafts, etc. Your sweater turned out great! So glad you're back. I CANNOT believe you turned 45. You do NOT look it one bit!! Your skin is so beautiful. :)
Happy belated Birthday to you! I hope ou had a fantastic one.
