Thankful Thursday + Pay-It-Forward update

I'm thankful for being able to indulge in ceramics as a creative outlet. It is such a satisfying art, and I enjoy working on clay along-side of my boys. More homeschool quality family time!(above plate made by ds#1 and bought by the wonderful Carrie-Gigi of Mud Puddle Girl and Under the Willow Gifts)

And speaking of ceramics,
1) I’m almost ready to list some ceramics and other goodies for sale on Etsy! and
2) the little gifts I made for the Pay-It-Forward Giveaway are done.

I've already given Sherrie and Minka theirs, but am ready to start packaging up and sending out the rest.

Little Shadow Creation gave me her mailing address, and I know I have Michelle's but I'll need it from the rest of you:

~ Blonde Duck (whose book Twelve Tales of Christmas is now available at Amazon!)
~ Alli (Ocean Treasures)
~ Elizabeth (Gassner Custom Soaps)
~ Cake (rake, shovel, hoe)
~ Amber (Amber's Ambry)

And I have to ask: Trisha (Suds to Love), was I giving you something or are we doing an exchange? I can't remember and I can't find a record of my original post on this. Please let me know if you read this post; thanks!

p.s. FYI, my contact e-mail is under my profile (I'm in the middle of changing e-mails, so I have 2 profiles to the right)...if you can't find it, it is "skepticgal (at) gmail (dot) com"

Love that you do ceramics! Very cool hobby to have.

I am sending you a message with my address right now.

Carrie, thanks! It was a pretty neat "quilting" technique.

Sherrie, I'm so glad you love it! I hope it'll put a smile on your face when you use it.

Michelle, you're a so many ways! ;)

That is so cool! I love, love, love Etsy, but am on a buying hold until we get settled in Korea.

Maybe that will give you enough time to get your online store set up! :D

Did I e-mail you? I think I did. Totally spacing out...

See, I can keep my stories straight, but that's it! :)

And thanks for the shout out!

TeresaR said...

Teri, I'll tell ds#2; he'll be tickled. It's hit and miss with that kid. Sometimes he makes lovely things; sometimes the result looks like something a two year old made.

Wendy, I look forward to seeing you at the "store". ;) I can't wait to hear about your Korea adventures!!

Blonde, nope, haven't heard from you yet. :> I'll come over to remind you...

Hi Teresa - Thanks for checking, but I hadn't signed up, cause I was (still am) so backlogged!

TeresaR said...

Trisha, thanks for letting me know! I swear I can't keep my head straight. ;) Hope you'll catch up soon...I wish you better luck than I'm having!

Ohhh, be sure to post when you're Etsy shop is stocked! I love Etsy! I've bought some really pretty stud earrings from there (the baby grabs my dangling earrings right now, so I have to stick with studs). I also bought a gorgeous dried flower wreath from Etsy recently. Things there are better quality than store bought and cheaper too. Did you know some people even sell homemade food there? My daughter is a vegan and they have some really tasty looking vegan treats that I may buy her for her birthday.

Okay, comment number 2 for today. I just was looking at your sidebar and I love how you have the list of blogs you read with the most recent post! I have comment luv, which is nice, but I'd love such a list. Is it a Blogger thing? If not, what program generates that list?

Navita (Gupta) Hakim said...

Hey Teresa didn't know u did ceramics...WOW!! Would love to see some of ur creations...I am a big fan!!

How are you doing otherwise girl?

TeresaR said...

Maureen, I definitely will! Yes, I've seen food on Etsy (I actually bought some canned tuna from - Elizabeth makes wonderful soaps and my favorite lip balms too).

As for list of updated blogs that I read, yup, that's Blogger! I go to Customize (should be at the top nav bar when you're looking at your own blog, and then click "Add a Gadget" (you can drag and move it to anywhere in your blog on that page too). And then, I think, you click on Blog List from the pop-up list that they give you. It's a great feature!

Navita, you can see some of our pieces at :) I'm doing all right; trying to catch up with all the things on my to-do list. How are you?

Meg_L said...

ummm, Are you including our swap? If not, don't worry about it.

TeresaR said...

MegL...heck yeah, I love anything you make! =)
