Repairs are done!

**Post updated to include the good news that Son1 is now enrolled into the Biol 111 class at Indiana University through their OPEN program for high-achieving high school students in the area (big thanks to Kathy for telling us about it). I think he's pretty excited about it. The session he chose is with a prof who is an ornithology expert and a very nice lady to boot. I think it'll be a great experience for him overall in terms of being more independent and developing better study habit.

And now back to the scheduled post...

---------

Our drywall developed cracks in them over the 13 years that we've lived in this house. Most of our house is pretty well-built but there are certain things that didn't hold up as well as others.

Because we're not skilled at drywall and hubby is too busy (and stressed) at work right now to spend time making house repairs, we hired Robin's husband, who is a drywall expert, to do it for us.

He did a terrific job...including repainting the walls...and then the tedious task of having to put everything back faced us.

Curiously, it takes several times as long to put things back than it does to take things down and toss in a heap somewhere. Funny that.

Have you done some house renovations or repairs lately? Did you do it yourself?
