There's no place like home

I find flying to be one of the worst ways to travel. Maybe I'm just getting to be a big chicken in my old age but I can't stand it. Even though I understand the science behind it, I never think it's going to work. The turbulence throws me totally into a tizzy. And the food...what food? (Unless, of course, you're flying international.)

It's great to be home! Even with the roof leaking the first night back (thanks to a severe thunderstorm that dumped 2+ inches on us). I've missed the peace and quiet of our rural neighborhood (even with partying coyotes nearby).
