My blog's on a list!

And fortunately, it's not the FBI's Most Wanted list. Hah!The folks at Construction Management Degree did a 50 Best Homesteading Blogs post and included this blog! Check it out and find some other good homesteading blogs to read too. :)

Thanks again, Construction Management Degree!

Soon, many others will have garden envy from your photos, as well as drool stains on their keyboards from the pix of Scott's food ;)

Congratulations!!

Firefly Mom, heh heh...I'm not expecting a huge turn-out at my site, but it was kind of fun to see. Thank you!

LOL, Teri! Oh, I'll never be famous, so no worries...you'll probably be famous before I will. And, I'll remember you as long as my memory hangs on. ;D

Cool! Now, I'm probably going to sound stupid, but what qualifies as a homestead? I always thought it was when people took land that wasn't being used and developed the land and thereby owned the land after a certain number of years???? It seems incredible to think that there is any land in the US that is not owned already. Okay, hopefully that didn't sound too stupid!

Thanks, Meg, Blonde, and Michelle!

Maureen, I think the term you're thinking of is "squatters" and "squatter's right". In fact, one of our neighbors down the road did that to another neighbor...not nice.

I think homesteading has always meant something like living off the land. :)
