Back home again

Sorry I've not been visiting your blogs lately, but we've been out of town visiting family in Vancouver. And I had to start by saying sorry because that's just what we Canadians do (as Catherine O'Hara said in the closing ceremonies of the Vancouver Winter Olympics). Just got home last evening and photos are forthcoming. Here's one I took with the iPhone, which would be really funny if I had a zoom lens. The shop on the left has the great name of "Fatty Cow Seafood Hot Pot". Love it.

Welcome back, hope you had a good trip! What does the Fatty Cow Seafood Hot Pot serve? I'm trying to envision it and my brain is coming up blank (like that is anything new!). Hope you have a wonderful 4th of July!

Thanks, ladies!

Epi, you've already seen everything we have...LOL!

Maureen and Stace, we didn't actually go in there, but the name cracked my kids up so much, I had to take a photo. Unfortunately, the only day that we walked by (it's too hard to try and take a pic from the car driving by) is the day I didn't bring a camera. The iPhone is great overall, but as a camera, it leaves something to be desired. ;)

I'm afraid you'll be dissapointed...we had to take Bear to the ER on Sat night at 1 a.m. and didn't come home until 4:30 a.m. Sunday was spent going back and forth to the doctors until we finally got him back fully recovered at 9 last night. But today we're celebrating with burgers and guacamole!

We Southerners say "I'm sorry" for everything that is not our fault, too. Great training.

Anything that says Fatty is my kind of place.

Blonde, I'm glad that Bear is tons better now though!

Teri, LOL! You'll make a great Canadian, then! I'm partial to fat too. ;)
