Consolidating yet again

I've already consolidated my TwoTadpoles.wordpress blog here, and now I'm adding the Project 365 one too.  Simplify, simplify...that's going to be my motto from now on.  :)

So here's my photo of the day:
We put up our holiday decorations this weekend.  This is our tree in its new LED glory!

Ooooo the tree looks wonderful!

I too needed to also "simplify" and combined all blogs into one--- makes life a bit easier right now :)

Hugs to all

Aack! I feel like we're the only family who hasn't put up our tree yet! People are so organized this year, what's going on?!?! We actually can't put it up until the week before Christmas or our cats will destroy it. I like how you have the ribbon that goes up and down on it, that seems to be the new thing. When you use that, do you also have a horizontal garland?

Very pretty tree, I am envious you are so organised.

And consolidating your blogs - very good idea. I think I might have to follow your lead as poor old 'Much of a 'Muchness' is proving to be a bit too much for me to manage :-)

Yes I agree that consolidating is a good move. For me as well! Now I get all your goodness in one place!

Ah, your tree is quite lovely! H wants to put up decorations. I guess I should dig out those boxes. Maybe I'll find my ice scraper while I'm at it!

Hooray for consolidation! And lovely tree. :)

I'll be excited to be able to read all of your goings-on now in one place. I have to admit that I forget to check the other blogs and miss out on ceramic and other goodies. :(

Isn't it a bit early? I don't really like having holidays too early. That's because still have school and exams before Christmas and it's just not fair that life is happening around me anyway. :))

In Slovenia, there is a tradition of decorating the tree on the night before Christmas. Families decorate their tree in the evening and then go to a midnight mass. We usually do it earlier. As soon as I finish school and start my holidays, of course! :)

Have a nice December! :)

Carrie, thank you! Hugs back!

Epi, wish you were here to see it.

Maureen, I've been doing the vertical ribbons thing for years now; the only horizontal things on the tree are the lights, so in the daytime, you can't tell there's anything horizontal on it.

Diane, I'll follow you/your blog(s) wherever you go! :)

Grace, thank you! I hope you find the decorations AND your ice scraper. :)

Amber, don't worry, you didn't miss anything because I mostly forget to update the other blogs. LOL!

Ducky, thanks!

Poppy, we usually put up our tree at the beginning of December because I figure that as much work as it is to decorate the tree and house, I'm going to enjoy it for as long as I can! I think the various Christian sects have different traditions that they follow, and then individual families may also have their own sub-customs within that. Thank you and I hope you, too, will have a lovely December and holiday break!

I definitely agree with you on that! :)

Hey, nice tree! Why does it make me think of spaceships?!! ;)

I wish I were there as well, but I'm having sooo much fun at work, I couldn't tear myself away, even for your lovely company. ;P

Sara, LOL! It is a bit spaceship-y, isn't it? ;)

Epi, I'm sooo sure, but your sarcasm is leaking so I knew you didn't mean it. LOL!
